About Our Swim School
Bubbles Swim School was founded in 2014. From an initial class of just six children we have now taught over 300 pupils to swim. We are committed to providing the highest quality swimming lessons in a safe, happy, fun and nurturing environment. We strongly believe that learning to swim is an important life skill that can have lifelong benefits as well as being a great way to help you stay fit and healthy.
All of our swim teachers are fully qualified and experienced and have a genuine passion for teaching children and adults to swim. Lessons are fun and engaging ensuring swimmers learn essential skills and techniques to reach their goals.
Meet The Team
Alison
Owner/Swimming Teacher
I have always had a real love and passion for swimming. From my early years as a competitive swimmer to becoming a swimming teacher, this wonderful sport has always been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. Having taught for over twenty-five years you could say swimming is a way of life for me!
I work hard to create a positive atmosphere where all my swimmers feel comfortable, encouraged and proud of their achievements, ensuring they leave every lesson feeling happy and excited for the next one.
Through my teaching, I hope to inspire others to discover the joys and benefits of swimming, just as I do. It’s an important life skill that can be enjoyed by children and adults of all ages and abilities.

I have been teaching swimming for over fifteen years and for me its not just a job its a passion. I want my children to smile and enjoy their lessons and look forward to coming every week. The best feeling is seeing a nervous swimmer develop confidence and a love for swimming as they progress with us. To me that is what teaching swimming is all about.
Not only do I gain pleasure from teaching children to swim and keeping them safe in the water, but I also feel its about nurturing and making our swim school a happy place.

Before joining Bubbles Swim School I worked at Pulloxhill Playgroup, working with children aged from 2-4.5 years old helping them prepare for the move to big school. I passed my Level 1 Swim Teaching Assistant course in July 2023 and absolutely love working within the Bubbles Swim School family.
